Whether you want to learn from home or at work, do it in your own time with Sage 50 Accounts CD-ROM. Using a simulated version of Sage 50 Accounts, you’ll be up and running with your software quickly and confidently.

Session 1: Navigation and settings
Including basic configuration, account coding structures and layout of accounts.

Session 2: Nominal Ledger and Chart of Accounts
Gain an overview of the three integrated ledger systems - Nominal, Sales and Purchases.

Session 3: Entering opening balances
Understand the choice of methods and implications for standard VAT and VAT cash accounting.

Session 4: Recording nominal, customer and supplier transactions
Learn how to record product/service invoices and credit notes.

Session 5: Housekeeping
Learn how and why to backup and restore data, and also how to check and verify data.

Session 6: Error corrections
Key routines for correcting posting errors and reversing transactions.

Session 7: Bank reconciliation
Discover how to reconcile your bank account in Sage 50 Accounts against your bank statement.

Session 8: Access rights
Learn how to set up new user access, customise your access and test it.

Recommended hardware

• An IBM®-compatible computer with a 2GHz (or equivalent) processor
• At least 1GB RAM
• At least 600MB of free disk space after Microsoft® Windows has been installed
• Network users only: 1Gbps network with Microsoft Windows networking

Minimum hardware

• An IBM-compatible computer with a 1GHz (or equivalent) processor
• 512MB RAM
• 400MB of free disk space after Microsoft Windows has been installed
• Network users only: 100Mbps network with Microsoft Windows networking

Performance will be improved with higher specification computers and networks.

Works with Microsoft Office 2000 and all later editions.

This product will not install or run on the Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, or Windows NT4 operating systems.

One of the following operating systems:

• Microsoft Windows 2000
• Windows Server 2003
• Windows XP (Recommended)
• Windows Vista (*not compatible with Windows Vista 64 Bit Business)

Please make sure that you have the latest Microsoft updates installed.

Please note: It is not possible to install multiple copies of this product on a single computer.
