Kontax Engineering Ltd is small specialist engineering company staffed by a team of highly skilled and dedicated engineers. Kontax is the world's largest manufacturer of the world's smallest commercially available Low Temperature Stirling Engines.

Kontax operate from a clean, modern workshop where the parts used in the engines are manufactured on advanced CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines. There are three CNC lathes and two XYZ CNC milling machines.

Engine parts are made in batches of 200 at a time: the CNC equipment enables Kontax to maintain very high standards and very fine tolerances over the whole of each batch.
